Peanut Butter Cup Pie

With a chocolate crust and a peanut butter custard filling, this pie tastes like the popular peanut butter cup candies.

- 4 Tablespoons (1/2 stick) softened butter
- 1/2 to 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 ounces peanut butter morsels, melted
- 1 chocolate cookie pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar. Add the vanilla and the eggs and blend well.
- Gradually add the flour and mix well, then blend in the melted peanut butter morsels.
- Pour the pie filling into the chocolate crust. Bake pie at 425 degrees F. for 5 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Cool pie before serving.
