Pumpkin Rum Pound Cake

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 2 tsps ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup rum
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- Beat butter; add sugar and beat until very smooth (1 to 2 minutes); beat in eggs one at a time.
- Combine dry ingredients and spices in a separate bowl. In a third bowl, combine pumpkin and rum.
- Alternate mixing flour mixture and pumpkin mixture into butter mixture. Pour into pan.
- Bake for 85 to 90 minutes.
