Snicker Cake

- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 3/4 pkg. or 12 oz. chocolate chips (1 cup)
Instructions
- Mix cake as directed. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Reduce heat in oven to 250 degrees.
- Melt caramels with margarine and milk.
- Pour caramel mixture over baked cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over mixture. Dot remainingcake mix over top of caramel mixture and bake 20 minutes at 250 degrees, then 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
