List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsps ground ginger
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" square pan.
- Cream butter with sugar, beating until light. Add molasses and sour cream; blend well. Add eggs, beating until well mixed. Combine remaining ingredients and add, beating until smooth.
- Pour into pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; turn out onto a rack. When cold, cut into squares.
