Broccoli Baked Turkey

- 1 head broccoli
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 3 tablespoons white flour
- 1 can chicken broth, strained
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups diced cooked turkey
Instructions
- Trim stems and leaves off broccoli and separate flowerets. Steam flowerets until just tender. Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt margarine. Remove from heat and stir flour into margarine to make a smooth paste.
- Return to low heat and blend in chicken broth stirring constantly until sauce is thick and smooth. Stir salt and mushrooms into sauce.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Grease a shallow baking pan with margarine. Place broccoli in baking pan, cover with turkey and pour mushroom sauce over both. Bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes.
