Best Brownies
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 3 T butter
- 3 T unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 T honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well.
- Add in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Spread batter into one 8" x 8" square baking pan.
- Bake for 25-33 minutes. Do NOT overcook. These are better the next day.
- To make Frosting: Combine 3 T butter, 3 T cocoa, 1 T honey, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
