Chocolate-Peppermint Crinkles
List of Ingredients
- 3 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 tsp peppermint extract
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- confectioner's sugar for finishing
Instructions
- Melt chocolate in double boiler and allow to cool.
- Mix chocolate, oil, sugar and peppermint. Beat in eggs. Stir in milk. Add flour and baking powder. Chill until firm.
- Roll tablespoon size balls in confectioner's sugar and bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Dust again with confectioner's sugar while warm, if desired.
