    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 cups cranberry almond crunch cereal


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in cereal.
    3. Divide dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into log, 14" long and 2" wide; place on greased cookie sheet.
    4. Bake for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheet. Place on cutting board; cool 5 minutes. Using serrated knife, cut each log into diagonal slices about 3/4" thick. Place slices upright on cookie sheet, 1/2" apart. Bake an additional 12 minutes or until slightly dry. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack. Store in tightly covered container. Before serving, drizzle with melted semi-sweet baking chocolate, citrus glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
