Recipe Introduction


Yummy pumpkin cookies with spices and butterscotch morsels. Moist and delicious.





List of Ingredients



• 1/2 cup shortening
  
• 1 cup sugar
  
• 1 cup solid pack pumpkin puree
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• 2 cups flour
  
• 1/4 tsp salt
  
• 1 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 tsp baking powder
  
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  
• 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
   
2. In a medium bowl, cream the shortening and sugar. Stir in the pumpkin and vanilla. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture. Then stir in the butterscotch morsels.
   
3. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for a minute on cookie sheets before removing to cool on wire racks.
