Slow Cooked Smothered Chicken

- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can of milk
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme, crumbled
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 large onion, sliced crosswise into 1/4" slices
- 1 rotisserie chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 (6 oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
Instructions
- To make the sauce, stir everything but chicken, onions, and mushroom in a bowl until combined, being careful not to break the bay leaf.
- Place the onion in the crockpot, followed by the chicken and mushrooms. Pour the sauce over the chicken and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, until the flavors have blended and the sauce is thick and bubbly. Remove the bay leaf and discard. Serve over hot rice.
