Blueberry-Nectarine Crisp

- 1 1/2 pounds nectarines, pitted and cut into eighths
- 1 pint blueberries (about 2 cups)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Toss nectarines, berries, sugar, juice and cornstarch in large bowl.
- Spoon fruit mixture into 8 x 8 x 2-inch square dish.
- In same bowl mix flour and brown sugar. With fingertips, mix butter into flour mixture until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of fruit.
- Bake in 375° oven 50 to 60 minutes, until bubbly and browned.
