- 1 package (6) frozen puff pastry shells
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups pie filling or fruit sauce
Instructions
- Bake shells for 10 minutes (about half done), remove half of the center.
- Blend the cream cheese, egg, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fill shells with mixture.
- Continue to bake until filling is just set, about 10-15 minutes, do not overcook. Cool.
- Place on desert plate, fill with pie filling or sauce and serve with ice cream.
