Beef Lo Mein is a great idea for a family meal. It is a wonderful way to introduce an oriental style dish into your family's cooking.
List of Ingredients
- 8 ounces cooked spaghetti
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce, divided
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, divided
- 1 (1-pound) Lean Flank Steak, cut into 1 inch slices
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup fresh snow pea pods, trimmed
- 1 cup broccoli flowerets
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to box instructions.
- Combine 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 teaspoon ginger; toss over steak.
- Heat sesame oil over medium high heat in a wok or large nonstick skillet.
- Add steak and stir-fry 4 minutes on each side or until browned. Drain and remove from pan.
- Stir-fry snow peas and next 5 ingredients in skillet 2 minutes.
- Stir in remaining soy sauce, ginger, steak and cooked noodles.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds; serve immediately.
