Fresh Pineapple With Frozen Berry Sauce
List of Ingredients
- 1 ripe pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 1 pkg (10 oz ech) frozen raspberries and sliced strawberries, thawed
- sugar to taste
- 2 T orange juice or orange liqueur
- mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Puree the thawed fruit, then pass them through a sieve to remove the raspberries seeds. Stir in sugar to taste if need be with orange juice or liqueur.
- Set a clump of chopped pineapple in the middle of each dessert plate; drizzle sauce around the pineapple and garnish with mint leaves.
