Burgundy Beef Pasta
List of Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 lb top sirloin, very thinly sliced crosswise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 14 1/2 oz no-salt-added diced tomatoes
- 8 oz no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup dry red wine
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
- In skillet, over medium high heat, saute meat, garlic and thyme in oil 3 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over pasta. Optionally garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
