Recipe Introduction
Begin marinating night before cooking.
List of Ingredients
- 1 London broil or top round steak (21/2 –3 lbs.)
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
Instructions
- Cut 3-4 slashes diagonally into London broil across the grain on both sides. Place in a shallow dish or plastic bag. Mix remaining ingredients to make a marinade and pour over meat. Marinate in refrigerator overnight, turning several times.
- Prepare grill and cook until medium-rare. This cut of meat is most tender if cooked rare to medium-rare. To serve, slice across the grain at an angle in 1/4-inch slices.
