List of Ingredients
- 1 pound sweet Italian sausage, removed from casing
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, quartered
- 1 1/2 cups chopped red onion
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Parsley Flakes
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Fennel Seed
- 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1 pound angel hair pasta, cooked and drained
Instructions
- Break up sausage in large skillet and sauté over medium-high heat 5-6 minutes. Remove sausage and drain fat. Rinse skillet and wipe clean.
- Heat oil in same skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms, red onion, and seasonings; cook 5 minutes. Stir in cooked sausage and cook an additional 5 minutes.
- Toss pasta and cheese with sausage mixture. Garnish with additional cheese, if desired.
