Garlice Baked Chicken Over Penne
List of Ingredients
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 packet chicken gravy mix
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup minced garlic, about 12 cloves
- 2 T minced onions
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasted
- 1/2 cup olive oil, divided
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp crushed dried basil, divided
- 1 tsp crushed dried oregano, divided
- 8 oz penne
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In deep baking pan, combine water, gravy mix, flour, garlic and onions; mix well.
- Rub chicken breasted with half olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika, half of basil and half of oregano. Place in pan, turning to coat with gravy mix; and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 1 hour.
- About 45 minutes into baking time, bring large pot of water to boil. Add remaining olive oil, remaining basil and remaining oregano. Add pasta and boil until tender; drain.
- Divide pasta among serving plates. Arrange chicken breasts on top of pasta and cover with gravy sauce.
