Spaghetti Carbonara

- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1/2 lb bacon, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 T chopped parsley
Instructions
- Prepare spaghetti according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over high heat until crisp. Reduce heat to medium; add onion and garlic, and saute 5 minutes.
- Stir together half-and-half and next 5 ingredients; toss in spaghetti.
- Add spaghetti mixture and 1/4 cup cheese to onion mixture in skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve in bowls.
