- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 egg yolk
- Cream Cheese Filling (below)
- Confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine sour cream and egg yolk; mixing well; add to flour mixture, stirring until dough forms. Divide dough in half; cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.
- Spray 30 muffin cups with non-stick vegetable spray.
- On a lightly floured board; roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into 4-inch squares. Gently press the squares into the muffin cups, leaving corners extending beyond edges. Spoon Cream Cheese Filling into each prepared shell. Fold and seal corners over filling. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from muffin cups; cool on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
