    Classic Savory Chicken Divan

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
    • 2 tsps oil
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 T dry sherry
    • 1 pkg (10 oz) broccoli spears or broccoli florets, thawed
    • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
    • 1 1/2 cups minute rice
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cook and stir chicken in hot oil in large skillet until lightly browned.
    2. Add water, sherry, broccoli and soup. Bring to full boil, separating broccoli spears. Stir in rice. Cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
    3. Arrange on platter. Sprinkle with cheese.
