    Creamy Baked Chicken With Veggies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (3.5 lb) fresh whole chicken, cut up
    • 4 medium carrots, sliced into 1/4" rounds
    • 2 medium potatoes, scrubbed & cut into 1/2" cubes
    • 1 cup pearl onions
    • 2 stalks celery, sliced
    • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1/2 cup 2% milk
    • 1/4 cup chicken broth
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
    • 1/4 tsp crushed dried sage


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; spray with cooking spray. Add chicken and cook until all sides are browned. Remove chicken to 2 to 3 quart baking dish with carrots, potatoes, pearl onions and celery.
    3. In small bowl combine soup, milk, chicken broth, thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper and sage; mix well. Pour over chicken and cover.
    4. Bake for 1 hour, or until vegetables and chicken are tender. Discard bay leaf before serving.
