    List of Ingredients


    • 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1 c. tortilla chips, crushed
    • 16-oz. jar salsa, divided
    • 26-oz. jar spaghetti sauce
    • 8 hoagie or sub buns, split
    • 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    • Optional: jalapeño peppers


    Instructions


    1. Mix together ground beef, egg, chips and one cup salsa.
    2. Form mixture into one-inch balls; place in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan.
    3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes; remove from oven and drain.
    4. Combine spaghetti sauce and remaining salsa in a saucepan; heat through and pour over meatballs. Spoon meatballs onto buns and top with cheese. Garnish with jalapeño peppers, if desired.
