List of Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. tortilla chips, crushed
- 16-oz. jar salsa, divided
- 26-oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 hoagie or sub buns, split
- 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Optional: jalapeño peppers
Instructions
- Mix together ground beef, egg, chips and one cup salsa.
- Form mixture into one-inch balls; place in an ungreased 13"x9" baking pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes; remove from oven and drain.
- Combine spaghetti sauce and remaining salsa in a saucepan; heat through and pour over meatballs. Spoon meatballs onto buns and top with cheese. Garnish with jalapeño peppers, if desired.
