    • 1 16-ounce can cream-style corn
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
    • 1 cup corn oil
    • Confectioners' sugar


    Instructions


    1. In a large mixing bowl, combine corn and egg; mix until blended. Slow stir in flour until blended.

    2. In a large skillet, heat oil. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil. Fry for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels; dust with confectioners' sugar.
