Caramelized Roasted Squash

List of Ingredients
- 2 large butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cubed into 1-inch pieces (about 8 cups)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cloves Peeled Garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 4 Tbsp (1/2 stick) Butter, cut into Tbsp size pieces
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Toss squash and garlic in large bowl with oil until well coated. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in single layer on large baking dish.
- Roast on center rack 10 min. Remove pan from oven. Dot squash mixture with butter; drizzle with syrup. Carefully turn squash with spatula. Return to oven; roast 15-20 min until tender and lightly browned.

Chef Tip(s):
Crush by placing clove of garlic in center of cutting board. Carefully hit clove sharply with flat edge of your chef's knife.
