    List of Ingredients


    • 3 heads (4 lbs) broccoli, cut into florets with 1" stems
    • 3 T extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
    • 2 T fresh lemon juice
    • 1 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Place large steamer basket in large stockpot. Add enough water to reach just under basket; arrange broccoli on basket. Cover and cook 10 minutes over high heat, until broccoli is bright green and a knife piereces the stems easily.
    2. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in large serving bowl. Add hot broccoli and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

    Makes 8 side-dish servings.
