Lemon Broccoli

- 3 heads (4 lbs) broccoli, cut into florets with 1" stems
- 3 T extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 T fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place large steamer basket in large stockpot. Add enough water to reach just under basket; arrange broccoli on basket. Cover and cook 10 minutes over high heat, until broccoli is bright green and a knife piereces the stems easily.
- Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in large serving bowl. Add hot broccoli and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
