Hi, thank you for copying my award winning recipe from Taste of Home (Deli Beef Heroes) to post in your recipe collection. It is in their print magazine, online and in the winning recipes cookbook from two years ago. Just so your readers know: it is best to blot the artichokes dry with a paper towel as the extra oil makes the spread a little sloppy. T of H felt people would know to do something like this as it is common sense, but some people have not known to do this. You can also use Kalamata olives (or any olive for that matter...sometimes I use jalapeno stuffed giant olives) and you can use any type of lunchmeat or leftover meats like ham, roast beef, turkey.
