Kielbasa Appetizer

2 pounds skinless kielbasa or smoked sausage
2 (8 ounce) cans pineapple chunks
About 80 toothpicks, for skewers
1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
1/2 cup grape jelly
2 tsp. quick tapioca
Recipe
Cut the kielbasa in half lengthwise; slice to make 1/2-circle pieces. Drain the pineapple and reserve liquid. Cut pineapple chunks in half. Skewer kielbasa and pineapple together on toothpicks; place in a slow cooker. In a bowl, combine the chili sauce, jelly, tapioca and half of the reserved pineapple liquid. Pour over kielbasa and pineapple. Cover and cook on medium setting until bubbly - about 2 hours. Turn heat to low to keep warm for serving. Makes approximately 80 skewers
