    List of Ingredients




    1 pound of lean ground beef
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    ( I used salad red and green peppers in a semi Italian dressing that comes in a jar)It's made for hoagies
    1 small onion, sliced
    6 button mushrooms, sliced
    1 cup shredded, low-fat mozz cheese
    ( Used an Italian Cheese Blend)
    8 Hamburger Buns
    ( used Sesame Buns)
    Fat free Italian dressing

    Recipe



    Make 8 thin burgers from the meat. Fry 3-4 minutes on each side. When done set aside. In the same pan cook the vegtables, adding the olive oil. Saute for 1 minute. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes. Place burgers on buns and top with some of the sauted vegtables, Sprinkle with some dressing to taste.

    I made my burgers very thin, then I place a little cheese on top and made a second very thin burger. Pressed to compact and seal all the way around. I also toatsed and gutted the Roll and placed an additional drizzle of dressing on the bottom half of the roll before placeing the meat on. Topped with the vegts and completed the recipe as written. The little bit of cheese in the center made the meat very moist, not so much flavor but very moist.
