1 1/2 lbs. boneless round steak
2 T. flour
1/4 t salt
1/4 c. oil
..................
2 T. flour
1 ( 16oz.) can diced tomatoes
1/2 C. chopped carrots
1/2 C. chopped celery
1/2 C. chopped onions
1/2 t. soy sauce
Recipe
Pound steak, cut into serving size peices. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge in meat in mixture. Brown in hot oil in large skillet. Remove from skillet and place in lightly greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish; sit aside.
Add 2 T. flour to pan drippings; cook over med. heat 1 min., stirring constantly. Add tomatoes, celery, carrots and onions. Cook until thick stirring constantly. Stir in soy sauce. Pour over steak. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hr.15 min. or until steak is tender.
