    List of Ingredients




    1 ¨ö c Water
    4 lb Beef short ribs
    3 md Red potatoes, quartered (about 1 pound)
    2 md Onions, chopped
    4 md Carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks
    ¨÷ c Barley
    32 oz Vegetarian baked beans
    ¨ö ts Salt
    ¨ù ts Black pepp

    Recipe



    In a soup pot, combine the water, short ribs, potatoes, onions, carrots, and barley over high heat; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 3¨ö to 4 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender. Stir in the beans, salt, and pepper; cover NOTE: The more often you reheat this, the better it will get!
