    Preheat Oven to 350º
    Use a 10-inch Bundt Pan, greased

    Cake:

    ½ cup packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    ¾ cup finely chopped almonds
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
    4 eggs
    ¾ cup vegetable oil
    ¾ cup water
    1 tsp. almond extract

    Glaze: (optional)

    1 cup confectioner's sugar,(sifted)
    1 to 2 tbsp. milk
    ½ tsp. vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Cake: Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside for filling. Sprinkle almonds evenly in bottom of prepared pan. In a large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, water and almond extract. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Using a greased 10 inch Bundt Pan,spread one-third of batter over nuts in pan. Sprinkle half of cinnamon,sugar filling over batter. Spread another third of batter on top, remaining filling, then remaining batter. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 25 minutes in pan on a wire rack, then remove cake.

    Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients, adding enough milk to make a smooth drizzling consistency. Drizzle over cake. Serve warm or cool.
