24 cupcakes (2 doz)
1 (16 oz) pkg OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
1 (18.25 oz) pkg yellow cake mix
prepared frosting, any flavor
red string licorice
Recipe
Cut 24 cookies in 1/2; coarsely chop remaining 17 cookies.
Prepare cake mix batter according to pkg directions; fold in chopped cookies. Spoon batter into 24 - 2-1/2" paper-lined muffin cups.
Bake according to cake mix pkg directions for time & temp. Cool. Frost; decorate to form butterflies using 2 cookie halves & licorice for each cupcake.
