This carrot cake is the best I've ever had...it's my mom's recipe from back in the day...it's not too sweet for those who don't like too much sweetness and I don't know anyone who tried it and didn't like it
List of Ingredients
Cream together:
1 1/2 cup Crisco oil
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
Mix together and add to above mixture:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
Then add:
2 jars Junior carrots (jr. baby food)
1/2 cup chopped nuts.
Recipe
Bake in 9x13 pan for 50 minutes at 325F.
Frost with cream cheese frosting:
Combine:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
BEAT WELL until sugar is well dissolved.
