    Posted by: queenietwo**********This is the recipe I use and I was amazed how good it was and it has very little for moisture. No shortening or anything. The topping is nearly the same as yours and I don't find it soupy at all. But it is sweet enough to knock your socks off.

    List of Ingredients




    2 Cups Flour
    1 1/2 Cups Sugar
    3 tsp. Baking Soda
    2 Eggs
    1 14 oz. can Fruit Cocktail
    Mix together and bake at 300 - 325 degrees for 45 minutes

    Recipe



    Sauce-Topping
    3/4 Cup Butter or Margarine
    1 Cup Evaporated Milk
    1/2 Cup White Sugar
    1 1/4 Cup Shredded Cocoanut
    Boil together for 15 minutes stirring constantly. (Cook on high for 5 minutes and then 15 minutes on medium). Spread on cake hot.
