Now for the "Sinful" one~` This is chocolate heaven at its best!!!
    Dense, dark and delicious~~
Almost brownie like, one very little sliver will definately satisify that chocolate urge~~ This one was posted by Twinkle30 on 4/04/06~` It was love at first sight~` Everyone yummed this one to death~` Killer Good` Thanks Twinkle~` Great Recipe, Never thought I'd see the day when I hid a piece of cake

    List of Ingredients

    3/4 cup water
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 stick of butter
18-oz of milk chocolate, cut into 1/4" pieces( used milk chocolate Chips)
    7 large eggs
2 Tbs dark rum or other Liqueur
    ( used Grand Marnier)
1 Tbs grated Orange Zest( did not use)

    Chocolate shavings for the finish

    Recipe

Butter and paper and butter the paper to a 8"x2" deep cake pan.Set inside a roasting pan. Oven set at 325.
Combine the water and sugar. simmer till dissolved, Cut in the butter, small pieces at a time, stirring until butter is melted. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate. Allow to sit for 2 min.Whisk the eggs, rum and orange zest.Gradually whisk the chocolate into the egg mixture.Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Add enough warm water to the roasting pan to cover a depth of 1". Bake for about 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Wrap and chill. To unmold set the pan over low heat for a few seconds. Run a sharp paring knife around the edge of the cake to loosen. Invert and remove the bottom paper. Sprinkle lightly with chocolate shavings, Cut into thin wedges. Store at room temp(covered for up to 6 hours)

This cake like all flourless cakes will have some cracks on top and may sink slightly in the middle.

    * I allowed the cake to cool at room temp, then I ran a spatula around the sides. Inverted onto plate tapped the bottom and left it alone. After a while it unmolded itself.
I omitted the chocolate shavings, but dusted the top with some
    powered sugar

    Will serve about 12
