List of Ingredients
1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
4 eggs
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup melted margarine (2 sticks)
1 cup chopped nuts (I used ground pecans)
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, beat together pumpkin, eggs, evaporated milk, sugar, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg until blended well.
Pour into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pumpkin mixture; pour margarine over top. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake 1 hour, no longer.
Let cool before serving. Serve with whipped topping.
