List of Ingredients
2 c. vanilla wafer, crushed fine
1-1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. walnuts, toasted and chopped fine
2 Tblsp. butter, softened
1/4 c. plus 1 Tblsp. dark rum
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
Recipe
Combine 1 cup of the confectioners' sugar with the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll the balls in the remaining 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar. Place on baking sheet and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 48 hours before eating.

I make this every year along with Amaretto balls - just sub. with almonds and Amaretto. I add melted chocolate chips because if it isn't chocolate - why bother around here. They are better if they are allowed to ripen I think. I have to watch the kids with the alcohol because it isn't cooked out. They love them a little too much. They are teenagers
