    Posted by: Zurichnee **********Made this tonight and it was very tasty! Not dry like some recipes. I loved the addition of tomato soup. I used a can of corn niblets instead of the green beans, and I added a couple cloves of minced garlic. Very good!!!


    List of Ingredients




    1 pound ground beef
    1/4 cup (or more) chopped onion
    1 can green beans, drained
    1 can tomato soup, undiluted
    Salt & pepper to taste
    Instant mashed potatoes for 4 servings
    1 egg, beaten lightly (optional)
    Shredded cheese, if desired
    Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Stir in beans, soup, salt & pepper. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Prepare mashed potatoes as directed on package. Stir in egg and cheese if desired. Put spoonfuls of potatoes in ring around top of beef mixture. Sprinkle with grated parmesan. Bake 25 min. at 375 degrees.

    Can put triangles of American cheese on top of potatoes instead of in the potatoes. Then you might omit the parmesan.
