Sausage-Sauerkraut Pasta Skillet

List of Ingredients
8 oz farfalle (bow tie) pasta
1 16 oz pkg kielbasa (Polish sausage), diagonally cut in 1/4" thick slices
1 medium onion
4 T butter or margarine, divided
2 T brown sugar
1 16 oz pkg refrigerated sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1/4 t pepper
Recipe
Cook pasta according to pkg directions, preferably at dente (firm to the bite); drain and set aside.
Melt 2 T butter in large skillet; add sausage and onion and cook until sausage is browned and onion tender. Drain excess fat.
Stir in brown sugar and cook for a few seconds until sugar has melted.
Stir in sauerkraut, pasta, remaining 2T butter and pepper; gently tossing to distribute ingredients event; continue to cook until heated thoroughly.
