    List of Ingredients




    1 16 oz. pkg Eckrich Smoked Sausage
    1 small head cabbage
    3 Tbs bacon grease
    1 Tbs granulated garlic(or powder)
    1 Tbs malt vinegar(or cider vinegar)
    fresh coarse ground black pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Melt bacon grease over medium high heat in a large skillet or chicken fryer.
    Slice the sausage into 1/4" diagonal slices and start browning it in the hot grease. Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the stem. Slice into 1/4" long shreds. Add to the pan with the sausage. Stir frequently so as not to burn. When cabbage starts turning limp add the garlic and vinegar and continue stirring. Cook until the cabbage is soft, but not mushy. Add black pepper to taste and serve.
