TURKEY N STUFFING CASSROLE

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or moargarine
1 1/4 cups boiling water
3 1/2 cups seasoned stuffing crumbs*
1 2.8 ounce can of French Fried onions
1 10 3/4 can of cream of celery soup
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken or turkey
1 10 ounce package frozen peas, thawed
Recipe
Preaheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine butter and water; stir until butter melts. Pour over seasoned stuffing crumbs toss lightly. Stir in 1/2 of the onions. Spoon stuffing mixture into a 1 1/2 quart cassreole dish. Press stuffing across the bottom and up the sides to form a shell. Combine soup, milk, chicken, and peas; pour into stuffing shell.
Bake COVERED, at 350 degrees for 30 mins. then top with rest of onions and bake UNCOVERED an additional 5 mins.
* 3 cups leftover stuffing may be substituted for butter, water and stuffing crumbs. If stuffing is too dry add a tablspoon of water at a time (last night I used 2 boxes of stove top)
