List of Ingredients
1&1/2 lb. round steak (I use sirloin steak sometimes, more tender)
1/4 c. flour
pepper to taste
1/2 c. unsalted butter
1 4oz can slice mushrooms (I use more, add to your preference)
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. Campbells beef broth (I use Miller's beef soup base, or Wylers beef granules; and I double the amount of broth so I have more gravy).
1 c. sour cream
1/2 bag of no yolk noodles (I cook the whole bag)
Recipe
Cut steak into thin strips, dust with pepper seasoned flour. In a large skillet, brown meat in butter. Add onions and brown slightly. Add mushrooms and beef broth, stirring to scrap browned bits from bottom of skillet. Cover and cook for about 1 hour or until meat is tender. Stir occassionally. Gradually stir in sour cream, simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Serve over cooked noodles.
**I have also gotten it to adding all ingredients, the put it in the oven for 1 hour.
****Have also added a little gravy master to it to darken the gravy up a bit.
