Cheese Spaghetti with Ham and Cabbage

List of Ingredients
5-oz spaghetti( used less)
( used no yolks whole wheat noodles)
1/6 of a head of Cabbage( finely chopped)
3-oz cream cheese( used 1/3 less fat)
3-oz sliced cured ham, cut into bite sized pieces( used 2 veal sausages, but ham would be very good as well)
Just didn't have the ham.
2 Tbs grated parm cheese
1/8 tsp cracked black pepper
salt to taste
Recipe
I added some sauted red pepper and some parsley as well.
Cook the spaghetti and two minutes before it's done add the chopped
cabbage. Drain the pasta water and reserve 2Tbs. Place the cream cheese, ham, parm cheese and black pepper into a microwavable bowl and microwave till the cream cheese melts. Toss with the cooked pasta.
If the mixture is too thick add the reserved pasta water.
Some suggestions for additions.
Garlic, Onion, Thyme or Caraway seeds and for color some finely chopped carrots~
