Willows notes: next time I will use less butter. I added extra cheese I also used 1(8oz) tub of sour cream because I dont really like thousand Island dressing as well as DH.I only used 3 pieces of bread torn up and added to the top. This recipe deserves 10+ stars for our family review.
List of Ingredients
1 large can sauerkraut, well drained
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 to 1 c. Thousand Island dressing
2 cans corned beef (may use a baked corned beef brisket)
16 oz.Swiss cheese,shredded
1 1/2 stickes oleo, melted
10 slices rye bread,torn into small pices.Recipe
Mix kraut,sour cream,and Thousand Island dressing. Place mixture in greased 9x13 inch baking
dish. Crumble corned beef over kraut, layer Swiss cheese over top, cover the Swiss cheese with rye bread pieces,Drizzle btter over bread. bake 45 minutes at 350
