    Posted by: cookbookmom *********These are from a 1996 issue of Country Woman magazine, and are a super treat for potlucks. Seems everyone likes them. I used peanut butter chips in place of the butterscotch.



    List of Ingredients




    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 10-ounce pkg. marshmallows
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    5 c. crisp rice cereal
    1 c. (6 oz) butterscotch chips
    1 c. (6 oz) chocolate chips

    Recipe



    In a large saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and marshmallows.
    Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter. Gradually add cereal, mix until well coated. Spread and press into a greased 13x9x2-inch pan, set aside. In
    microwave-safe bowl or the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chips, spread on top of the treats. Cover and freeze for 15-20 minutes or until chocolate is set. Cut into squares. Makes 12-16 servings.
