Glazed Orange Slice Bars

List of Ingredients
Candy Orange Slices-coat with 1 cup flour to make it easier to cut the candy. Cut (each piece) into 1/4-inch thick pieces. Measure out 2 cups of the cut-up candy, reserve the left-over flour. Set aside. (
I use the whole 1 pound bag and cut them up.)
Combine:
Reserved Flour from above
1 additional cup Flour
1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Beat:
4 Eggs, add:
2 cups Brown Sugar (packed)
2 tablespoons Water
Recipe
Mix in flour on low. Stir in candy. Spread in a greased cake pan. Bake 30 minutes, at 350 degrees. Glaze and cut while war. Cool completely.
Glaze-combine:
1 tablespoon melted Butter
2 cups Powdered Sugar
2-4 tablespoons Orange Juice*
Yiel'd about 3 1/2 dozen
*Use fresh or frozen, just make sure it is prepared orange juice and not concentrate.
This recipe I have had for years, and it was one from my childhood.
