    Jiffy Peanut Butter Bars

    List of Ingredients




    1 (9 oz) box Jiffy Golden Yellow cake mix
    1 egg
    3 1/2 T vegetable oil
    1/4 c. creamy peanut butter*
    1 T water
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients except peanuts in mixing bowl, stirring until batter is creamy smooth.

    Spread batter into greased 7 1/2 x 11 1/2" baking pan. Sprinkle peanuts evenly over top and slightly press into batter.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 13 to 15 mins. Cool and cut into bars.

    *The original recipe calls for 1/4 c. peanut butter but I think next time I will try 1/2 c. to make them even more peanutty in taste.
