List of Ingredients
6 cups cornflake cereal
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter Recipe
Pour cornflakes into large bowl. Cover cookie sheet with wax paper. Bring syrup and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in butter and peanut butter. Stir well. Pour over cornflakes. Combine completely. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper
my recipe adds 1 cup of chocolate chips to the mixture and has you press the mixture into a 13x9 pan then cut it into squares. I found a 13x9 pan to be to large. The flavor was great though. I really like your method of dropping them by spoonfuls (suggest an 11 x 7)
I usually put some green food coloring in the syrup just before pouring over the corn flakes, drop by large Tablespoon and dot the tops with red hot candies and call them Christmas Ting-a-lings I've also put this in a bar pan, cut them before cool and drizzled melted milk choc. over them.
