    Mom always made it in the oven ~ no recipe. Rinse sauerkraut, sprinkle with caraway seed. Layer pork chops on top of sauerkraut. Bake until pork chops are done.

    If you like sauerkraut I make pork chops browned then set in crock with sauerkraut, apple juice, onions, salt/pepper,thyme, carraway ( I don't use it we don't like it) top with apple slices. Cook on low 5-6 hours. It's my favorite meal when I get hungry for sauerkraut
